Vaam

Vaam vs Waalaxy

Price is the first thing you will notice about these two, and it is not close. Waalaxy is much cheaper than we are, and this page does not pretend otherwise. It is the LinkedIn-first entry point into outreach automation: €19 per user per month on its published pricing page, an explicit invitation quota per plan, and a free tier that stores prospects but runs no automation. The bigger difference is where the prospects come from. Waalaxy runs the list you build. Our agents do the step before that, and the sequence they feed also carries video personalized per prospect and calls.

Short answer

Waalaxy runs the list. We build the list and then run it. Waalaxy imports prospects from a LinkedIn search, Sales Navigator, Recruiter Lite or a CSV and executes a campaign against them. Our agents find new people from LinkedIn posts and people searches on a schedule, enrich each profile and check it against the audience you defined before anyone is contacted, then run the LinkedIn, email and video steps automatically. So pick Vaam if you want the tool to source and qualify continuously, if you want video personalized for each prospect, AI-written messages and calls next to LinkedIn and email, or if EU data residency has to be stated. Pick Waalaxy if the job is LinkedIn connection requests and follow-ups at the lowest possible price against lists you build yourself, and you want published per-plan volume limits and ready-made Zapier, Make and n8n modules. The old "extension versus cloud" argument no longer separates them. Waalaxy's own help centre states the Chrome extension has been removed and campaigns run in the cloud.

Top pick: Vaam Best for Agent-sourced LinkedIn, email and video outreach with a human on the replies

Pick Vaam if

  • You want the tool to find and qualify prospects continuously, not just execute a list you built somewhere else.
  • You want AI doing the sourcing and the sending, and a person on every reply.
  • You need video personalized per prospect, inside the sequence rather than bought as a second tool.
  • You run LinkedIn, email and calls as one flow and want native CRM sync to HubSpot, Pipedrive or Upsales.
  • You need a vendor that states in writing that all customer data is stored inside the European Union.
  • You want email sequences included in the one plan instead of gated to a higher tier.

Pick Waalaxy if

  • You already build your own lists in LinkedIn Search or Sales Navigator and only need a tool to execute them well.
  • Budget decides. Waalaxy publishes €19 per user per month against our €99, and it is the cheapest serious entry point in this category.
  • You run LinkedIn only and do not need video, so paying for video capacity would be waste.
  • You want the exact invitation and message quotas per plan published up front. We do not publish numbers.
  • You want ready-made Zapier, Make and n8n modules. We have an API and a webhook step, but no app listing in those tools.
  • You want to keep an account and your prospect lists without paying, which Waalaxy's Freemium tier allows.

Feature comparison

Where Vaam and Waalaxy overlap, and where they do not.

Feature support by product
Feature Vaam Waalaxy
Agent-sourced prospecting The tool finds and qualifies new prospects itself, instead of only running a list you built elsewhere. Yes Agents source from LinkedIn posts and people searches, enrich each profile, and check it against your audience before enrollment. Partial Waalaxy builds lead lists from a LinkedIn Search, Sales Navigator or Recruiter Lite import, or from a CSV, and can also "automatically import contacts who like or comment on your posts". The import is the only filter: Waalaxy's ICP Generator writes an ideal customer profile for you, but no ICP check is applied to imported leads before the campaign contacts them.
Autonomous sequence execution Sourced prospects enter a multi-step sequence and every step sends on schedule without a person triggering it. Yes LinkedIn, email and per-prospect video steps send automatically, with randomized human-like pacing and a 400 active-prospect cap on LinkedIn sequences. Yes Automated connection requests, messages and multi-step follow-ups run in the cloud once a campaign starts. Combining LinkedIn and email in one campaign needs the Business plan.
Human control points Named places where a person can approve or halt the automation, such as approving prospects before outreach and replies that stop the sequence. Yes Require approval holds each prospect for your decision, and a prospect's reply pauses the sequence and becomes a task for the seller. Partial Smart reply detection "automatically detects replies and pauses sequences accordingly". No approval step before outreach is documented.
LinkedIn automation Connection requests, messages and follow-ups inside one campaign. Yes Included. Yes Included on every paid plan; the Freemium tier runs no automation.
Published LinkedIn volume limits Whether the vendor states, before you buy, how many actions a plan allows. Partial Volume is set with named tempos (Safe, Standard and higher) rather than published numbers; Vaam's docs recommend starting on Safe and scaling over weeks. Yes The help centre publishes 11 invitations per day on Pro, which it puts at around 300 per month, and 80 to 100 per day on Advanced and Business with a cap of 200 per week.
Email sequences Multi-step automated email campaigns in the same tool. Yes Included in the one plan. Partial Cold email and multichannel campaigns are only on the Business plan.
Email finder and enrichment Yes Up to 400 email enrichments / month. Yes 25 email finder credits / month on Pro and Advanced, 500 / month on Business.
Video in outreach Sending a recorded video as a step in the sequence. Yes Built-in recording and sharing. No Waalaxy's published feature list covers LinkedIn prospecting, messaging, email finder and cold email; no video step is documented.
Video personalized per prospect A different video, or video page, for each prospect. Yes Record once; Vaam personalizes each copy with the recipient's website in the background. Up to 400 per month. No Not documented. Waalaxy has no video feature to personalize.
AI message generation Yes AI personalization is auto-generated with no setup. Yes AI message writer, campaign suggestions and a writing assistant.
Calls in the sequence Partial Call steps run as sequence tasks; Vaam publishes no in-app dialer. No Waalaxy's feature list documents LinkedIn and email steps only.
Native CRM sync Yes HubSpot, Pipedrive and Upsales, included; syncs contacts, activities and blocklists. Yes HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, plus CRM sync listed on every paid plan.
Public API and workflow connectors A documented API and Zapier, Make or n8n modules. Partial A documented HTTP API with scoped API keys, rate limits and cursor pagination, plus a sequence webhook step you can point at Zapier, Make or your own backend. There are no native Zapier, Make or n8n app listings. Yes API access from the Advanced plan, with a developer portal and native Make, Zapier and n8n modules.
Runs without a browser extension Whether campaigns keep running when no extension is installed. Yes LinkedIn automation runs on Vaam's infrastructure over managed proxy connections; the Chrome extension is optional and can be uninstalled. Yes Waalaxy removed its Chrome extension on 1 July 2026 and runs at app.waalaxy.com; an optional extension only speeds up imports.
Free plan without a subscription No 14-day free trial without a credit card, then a paid plan. Partial The Freemium tier keeps prospects and campaigns readable and allows CSV import, but runs no automation features.
EU data residency Yes All customer data is stored within the European Union. Not documented Waalaxy is operated by SAS Waapi, a French company that answers to the CNIL under the GDPR, but its data usage policy does not state where customer data is hosted.

Pros and cons

Vaam

A sales outreach automation platform whose agents find prospects on LinkedIn, check them against your audience and enroll the matches into a sequence of LinkedIn, email and per-prospect video steps.

Best for Agent-sourced LinkedIn, email and video outreach with a human on the replies

Pros

  • The agents find and qualify prospects on their own. They source from LinkedIn posts and people searches, enrich every profile, and check it against the audience you defined before anyone gets contacted. If you configure no audience, they run without the matching step.
  • Sourcing, qualification and outreach sit in one product, so there is no export and re-import between building a list and running it.
  • You choose how much rope to give the agent. Turn on Require approval to vet every prospect yourself, or leave it off and let the agent enroll the matches.
  • Video is personalized per prospect and comes with the plan, not sold as a separate tool.
  • LinkedIn, email, video and call steps run inside one sequence.
  • Email sequences come with the one plan and are not reserved for a higher tier.
  • Native CRM sync for contacts, activities and blocklists is included.
  • All customer data stays inside the European Union, stated on the product's own security page.

Cons

  • Far more expensive to start, at €99 per user per month against Waalaxy's published €19.
  • No free tier at all. After the 14-day trial the product stops.
  • We set LinkedIn volume with named tempos rather than published daily or monthly quotas, so you cannot compare limits before buying.
  • No native Zapier, Make or n8n listing. You connect those through a webhook step or the HTTP API.
  • Calls are sequence tasks, not an in-app dialer.

Waalaxy

A LinkedIn-first prospecting tool built for beginners, with published invitation quotas per plan, cold email on its top tier and a free plan that stores prospects without automating them.

Best for The cheapest way to run LinkedIn connection requests and follow-ups

Pros

  • The cheapest published entry price in this category, at €19 per user per month.
  • Invitation and message quotas are published per plan, so you know the volume before you pay.
  • Fully cloud-based since 1 July 2026; no browser extension is needed to run campaigns.
  • Documented API plus native Make, Zapier and n8n modules from the Advanced plan.
  • Native CRM integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive.
  • A Freemium tier keeps your prospects and campaigns readable after the trial ends.

Cons

  • No video step of any kind. Waalaxy's own feature list covers LinkedIn, email and enrichment only.
  • Cold email and multichannel sequences are only on the €69 Business plan.
  • Email finder credits are 25 per month below the Business plan.
  • Waalaxy's data usage policy does not state where customer data is hosted.
  • The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically, and the help centre states that no reminder is sent before the first charge.
  • One licence is tied to one LinkedIn account.

Frequently asked questions

What do Vaam agents do that Waalaxy doesn't?

Waalaxy executes a list you have already built. You run the search in LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter Lite, import it or a CSV, and start a campaign. It can also auto-import people who like or comment on your own posts, but the import is the only filter, and nothing checks those people against an ideal customer profile before the campaign contacts them. Our agents do the step before that. An agent watches a LinkedIn people search, a company page's posts or one person's posts, opens each new profile to load their company, role, industry and size, and judges them against the audience you defined, meaning job titles, geography, company size, industries and exclusions, before anyone enters a sequence. With no audience configured, the agent runs without that check. Prospects the check rejects are listed with the reason, and you can overrule the decision. In practice you get a steady flow of qualified people instead of a campaign that goes quiet when the list runs out.

Does Vaam work on its own?

Partly, and that is on purpose. The agents run without you. They watch LinkedIn posts and people searches on a schedule, enrich every profile they find, check it against your audience, and add the matches to a sequence that then sends its LinkedIn, email and video steps by itself. What we do not automate is the conversation. When a prospect answers, the sequence pauses and the reply becomes a task for you, with an AI summary and, where the AI judges that the reply needs a person, a suggested response you can copy. You can also switch on Require approval, which holds every prospect for your decision before any outreach starts. Vaam runs the outbound work, and you take the conversations.

Is Waalaxy free?

Partly. Waalaxy's pricing page lists no free plan, only a 14-day free trial on Pro, Advanced and Business. Its help centre describes a separate Freemium tier that you fall back to after a trial: it is free, keeps your prospects and campaigns, and allows CSV import, but it runs no automation features. So you can keep a Waalaxy account for nothing, but you cannot send campaigns from it.

Is Vaam cheaper than Waalaxy?

No. Waalaxy is the cheaper tool at every tier. It publishes €19 per user per month for Pro, €49 for Advanced and €69 for Business. We publish one price, €99 per user per month, billed monthly with no lock-in. Read the billing term carefully on Waalaxy's page, because it loads with the yearly option selected, and Waalaxy states quarterly is −20% and yearly is −50%. Both of us price in EUR, so the comparison is direct.

What does Waalaxy cost for a team of five?

Both tools charge per user, so multiply the per-user price by five and pick the tier that has the channels you need. For Waalaxy that means the €69 Business plan if the team sends cold email, because email sequences are not on Pro or Advanced. Waalaxy also ties one licence to one LinkedIn account, and its Enterprise tier starts at five seats with custom pricing. Ask Waalaxy for the monthly figure in writing before you compare, because its published prices are the discounted ones. We are simpler to work out: one price of €99 per user per month, so five users cost €495 per month.

Does Waalaxy still need a Chrome extension?

No. Waalaxy's help centre states that the Chrome extension was removed on 1 July 2026 and that the product now runs entirely at app.waalaxy.com, on any browser, with campaigns continuing in the background. An optional extension exists only to pre-fill imports faster. We are the same in practice. Our LinkedIn automation runs on our own infrastructure over managed proxy connections, and our Chrome extension can be removed. If you were choosing between these two on "extension versus cloud", that reason no longer applies.

Is LinkedIn automation with either tool safe for my account?

Both vendors say they pace activity to stay inside LinkedIn's limits, and neither can promise that LinkedIn will never restrict an account. Waalaxy publishes the numbers: 11 invitations a day on Pro, and 80 to 100 a day on Advanced and Business with a stated cap of 200 a week. It also advises new accounts to limit themselves to 30 actions per type per day while warming up. We set volume with named tempos instead, recommend starting on Safe for two weeks, route automation over managed proxies to keep the network location stable, and publish a recovery procedure for warnings and temporary bans. Ramp-up discipline matters more here than the tool you pick.

Does Waalaxy do video?

No. Waalaxy's own feature list covers LinkedIn prospecting and messaging, an email finder and cold email, and it documents no video step. The one video item Waalaxy publishes is a free tool for downloading public LinkedIn videos, which is not outreach. If a recorded, per-prospect video is part of your motion, Waalaxy cannot run it and you would need a second tool.

What can Waalaxy do that Vaam cannot?

Waalaxy costs under a fifth of our entry price, publishes exact invitation and message quotas per plan, keeps a free Freemium tier after the trial, and ships native Make, Zapier and n8n modules on top of its API. It also lists Salesforce among its native CRM integrations. We have no free tier and publish no numeric limits. We do document an HTTP API with scoped keys and a webhook step you can point at Zapier or Make, but we offer no ready-made app listing in those tools, so you wire the connection yourself. Our pricing page names HubSpot, Pipedrive and Upsales for CRM sync.

Where is my data stored with each tool?

We store all customer data within the European Union. Waalaxy is run by SAS Waapi, a French company registered in Montpellier, and its data usage policy is written around the GDPR and names the CNIL as the supervisory authority, but that policy does not say where customer data is hosted. If data residency has to be evidenced for a legal review, ask Waalaxy directly rather than inferring it from the company's location.

Can I use Vaam and Waalaxy together?

You can, but they overlap on the part that carries the account risk. Running two tools against the same LinkedIn account doubles the activity LinkedIn sees while each tool paces only its own share, which is the fastest way to trigger a restriction. If you want to trial both, point them at different accounts or run them in separate periods.
