AI agents

Agents find the prospects, then run the outreach

A Vaam agent is a saved instruction to find people on LinkedIn, judge them against your audience, and put the matches into one sequence. It runs on a schedule inside the LinkedIn session Vaam hosts, so your own computer does not need to be on.

What an agent is

An agent has three parts: a source — where to look on LinkedIn, an audience — who counts, and a target — one sequence, plus an optional approval gate. Type, source and target sequence are fixed once the agent is created.

Most LinkedIn automation tools execute a list you already built: you run the search, export the people, import them, and start a campaign. Agents do the step before that. Those tools run the list; Vaam builds the list and then runs it.

What agents watch

Company posts

The people who comment on or react to a company page's posts.

Profile posts

The people who engage with a person's posts, including your own.

LinkedIn search

A regular LinkedIn people-search URL, worked through page by page over time, where enabled.

Agents source from LinkedIn only. There is no website-visitor, job-change, funding-signal or CRM-signal agent, there is no built-in lead database, and Sales Navigator search URLs are not supported.

What an agent does, end to end

  1. 1. Find

On each run the agent opens its LinkedIn source in Vaam's hosted browser session and collects the profiles it has not seen before.

  2. 2. Enrich

Each profile is opened to load company, role, industry, company size and geography. Email and phone enrichment run through Vaam's data providers.

  3. 3. Check the audience

A deterministic filter — company size, geography, industry, exclusions — runs first, then an AI check judges the rest and writes down its reason. Agents can also run without audience matching if no audience is configured.

  4. 4. Enroll or hold

Matching prospects go into the agent's sequence. With Require approval switched on they wait for your decision instead.

  5. 5. Run the sequence

The sequence sends its LinkedIn, email and video steps on its own schedule, with randomized human-like pacing. Video can be regenerated for each prospect.

Where the autonomy stops, on purpose

Vaam does the sourcing, the qualification, the personalization and the sending. You own the conversation.

Require approval

An opt-in switch, off by default. Turn it on and no prospect enters the sequence until a person approves them. It is prospect approval, not message approval.

A reply stops the sequence

A prospect's reply pauses the sequence and comes to you as a task. For LinkedIn replies you also get an AI summary and, where the AI judges the reply needs a person, a suggested response you can copy. Vaam does not answer replies for you.

Override the audience check

Prospects the audience check rejects are listed with the reason. You can add one anyway, and Vaam stores the reason you give.

Tempo and account safety

  • Every agent runs at a tempo tier derived from your outreach limits, and defaults to the safest one. The agents, search pages and enrollments per run are randomized so the pattern does not look mechanical.
  • Sequences that contain LinkedIn steps hold at most 400 active prospects at a time. Extra prospects queue and start automatically as slots free up. Email-only sequences are uncapped.
  • You set the schedule per agent: every run, hourly, daily or weekly. Agents run inside the LinkedIn session Vaam hosts, and they stop when you pause them or when the LinkedIn connection is lost.

Questions and answers

What is a Vaam agent?
Vaam is a sales outreach automation platform for B2B sales teams. Its AI agents watch LinkedIn post engagement and, where enabled, people searches, enrich every profile they find, and check each prospect against your audience — agents can also run without audience matching if no audience is configured — before adding the matches to a sequence. The sequence then runs LinkedIn, email and per-prospect video steps on its own, with human-like pacing. You choose whether to approve prospects first. A prospect's reply stops the sequence and comes to you as a task.
What do Vaam agents do that other LinkedIn automation tools don't?
Most LinkedIn automation tools execute a list you have already built: you run the search, export the people, import them, and start a campaign. Vaam's agents do the step before that. An agent watches a company page's posts, a person's posts or, where enabled, a LinkedIn people search, opens each new profile to load their company, role, industry and size, and judges each prospect against the audience you defined — job titles, geography, company size, industries and exclusions — before they enter a sequence. Agents can also run without audience matching if no audience is configured. Prospects the audience check rejects are listed with the reason, and you can override the decision. The result is a continuous flow of qualified prospects rather than a campaign that empties out when the list runs out.
Does Vaam work on its own?
Partly, and deliberately. Vaam's agents run on their own: they watch LinkedIn post engagement and, where enabled, people searches on a schedule, enrich each profile they find, check each prospect against your audience — agents can also run without audience matching if no audience is configured — and add the matching people to a sequence that then sends its LinkedIn, email and video steps automatically. What Vaam does not do on its own is talk to a prospect who answers. A prospect's reply stops the sequence and becomes a task for you. For LinkedIn replies you also get an AI summary and, where the AI judges the reply needs a person, a suggested response you can copy. You can also switch on Require approval, which holds every prospect for your decision before outreach starts. So Vaam runs the outbound motion without you, and hands you the conversation.
Where do agents find people?
On LinkedIn: the people who engage with a company page's posts, the people who engage with a person's posts, and — where enabled — a LinkedIn people search. Sales Navigator search URLs are not supported, and there is no built-in lead database, no website-visitor source, no job-change source and no CRM-signal source.
Can I approve prospects before outreach starts?
Yes. Require approval is a switch on the agent, and it is off by default. Turn it on and every prospect the agent finds waits for your decision; no outreach starts until you approve them.
How many prospects will an agent add?
It depends on your tempo tier and your outreach limits, and the numbers are randomized per run, so there is no fixed figure. Sequences with LinkedIn steps also hold at most 400 active prospects at a time; the rest queue and start automatically as slots free up.
