We have tried working with outbound sales as a complement to our own marketing and lead generation. We have tested various strategies, from manually calling and emailing to testing different tools that automate parts of the process.
Our goal with testing Vaam was to use a single tool where our salespeople had a simple process for outbound work with a combination of phone and email, using video as the medium.
My salespeople and I use Vaam where we have created a main sequence that we add contacts to through LinkedIn.
This sequence first contacts the prospect through LinkedIn and asks open-ended questions, then the sequence proceeds to email the prospect, and finally (if the prospect hasn't responded) a task is created to call the contact.
We were up and running the same afternoon we signed the contract with Vaam. We built a sequence and then started enrolling contacts.
Since we don’t use pushy sales sequences but rather open questions that start conversations, we began receiving responses to the automations within a few days, which quickly created meetings for us.
Wow. Mainly, I would say that thanks to Vaam, we have managed to engage in outbound sales that we wouldn't have otherwise, as we wouldn't have had the energy for it.
But if we were to do what Vaam does for us today, I would say Vaam saves approximately 15 hours per salesperson per week.
Since we work with high-ticket items, our target group is smaller and the sales process longer. We get about 5 meetings per salesperson per month. It should be noted that closing one deal a year makes the investment in Vaam profitable :)
First and foremost, it is the great focus on video that makes Vaam wonderful and sets it apart from other tools. The second is that the interface is so simple and everything "just works".
