Vaam vs Sendspark
Vaam and Sendspark get compared a lot, and they are not the same kind of product. Which kind you need decides this before any single feature does. Both exist because a recorded video gets a reply where a text-only message does not, and both let you record once and generate a personalized version for every prospect. The difference is everything around the video. Sendspark is a dedicated AI video platform. You upload the contacts, it makes the videos, and you hand them to whatever sequencer you already run. We are an outreach platform, so the video is one step in a motion we also source and send. That cuts both ways. Sendspark goes deeper on the clip itself, and this page says where.
Short answer
They are not the same kind of product. Sendspark makes videos for contacts you upload as a CSV, and it publishes no prospecting and no sequence engine of its own. Our agents find people on LinkedIn posts and people searches on a schedule, enrich each profile, check it against your audience, and enroll the matches into a sequence whose LinkedIn, email and video steps then send automatically. Pick Vaam if you want the sourcing, the sequence and the video in one tool, either because you do not run a separate sequencer today or because you want to stop paying for two. Pick Sendspark if you already have a sequencer you like, such as Outreach, SalesLoft, Smartlead, HubSpot, Instantly or Expandi, and want the deepest AI video personalization to feed into it. Sendspark's voice cloning, dynamic website backgrounds and lip cloning go further on the video itself than anything we publish, and we publish no voice-cloning feature at all. Sendspark stores data on US servers. We store it inside the EU.
Pick Vaam if
- You want the tool to find and qualify prospects continuously, not just make videos for a list you built somewhere else.
- You want AI to do the sourcing and the sending, and a human to own every reply.
- You want one tool that records the video and runs the LinkedIn and email sequence that delivers it.
- You do not already own a sequencer and do not want to buy two products to run video outreach.
- You need native CRM sync for contacts, activities and blocklists, not only video engagement data.
- Your legal review requires customer data to stay inside the European Union.
Pick Sendspark if
- You already run a sequencer you are happy with and only need the video layer on top of it.
- You want AI voice cloning, lip cloning and dynamic website backgrounds. Vaam publishes none of them.
- You need to push video into tools Vaam does not integrate with, such as Outreach, SalesLoft, Smartlead, Clay or Expandi.
- You need a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, which Vaam does not publish.
- You want to start on a lower price than Vaam's €99 per user per month.
- Your team is on marketing, customer success or internal comms rather than outbound prospecting, so a sequence engine would go unused.

Feature comparison
Where Vaam and Sendspark overlap, and where they do not.
| Feature | Vaam | Sendspark |
|---|---|---|
| Agent-sourced prospecting The tool finds and qualifies new prospects itself, instead of only running a list you built elsewhere. | Yes Agents source from LinkedIn posts and people searches, enrich each profile, and check it against your audience before enrollment. | No Sendspark publishes no prospecting, lead database or search. Its own help centre describes a dynamic video campaign as starting from a CSV upload of contacts you already have, and its LinkedIn connection is a personalization source rather than a way to find people. |
| Autonomous sequence execution Sourced prospects enter a multi-step sequence and every step sends on schedule without a person triggering it. | Yes LinkedIn, email and per-prospect video steps send automatically, with randomized human-like pacing and a 400 active-prospect cap on LinkedIn sequences. | No Sendspark has no sequence engine. Automated Workflows create and send a video when a trigger fires, such as a lead added to your CRM, a form fill or a signup, and the multi-step cadence runs in Outreach, SalesLoft, HubSpot or another tool you also pay for. |
| Human control points Named places where a person can approve or halt the automation, such as approving prospects before outreach and replies that stop the sequence. | Yes Require approval holds each prospect for your decision, and a prospect's reply pauses the sequence and becomes a task for the seller. | Not documented Not documented, and largely not applicable. Sendspark does not run the cadence, so stopping on a reply belongs to the sequencer you send from; Sendspark publishes no approval step of its own. |
| Screen and camera recording Recording yourself, your screen, or both, from the desktop. | Yes Chrome extension or the Mac and Windows desktop app; mobile recording is not supported. | Yes Chrome extension or desktop app, up to 1080p. |
| Video personalized per prospect One recording turned into a different video for every prospect. | Yes Record one template video; every prospect added to the sequence gets their own version. Up to 400 AI-personalized videos / month. | Yes Dynamic Video campaigns generate one video per contact from a CSV, metered in Dynamic Video Minutes. |
| AI voice cloning The video speaks each prospect's name in your own cloned voice. | Not documented Vaam does not publish a voice-cloning feature. | Yes Sendspark's help centre describes recording with a placeholder name, "Hi Watermelon", which AI voice cloning then replaces with each contact's own name in your recorded voice. Lip cloning and multilingual generation are documented separately. |
| Dynamic website backgrounds Each prospect's own website rendered behind you in the video. | Not documented Vaam does not publish a dynamic-background feature. | Yes Included on every plan, with optional simulated scrolling of the prospect's site. |
| Personalized video landing page A branded page around the video, with merge fields and a call to action. | Yes Every video gets a branded share page with a custom intro, CTA buttons and calendar links. | Yes Share page with header, message, merge tags, fallback text and a CTA button. |
| Video engagement analytics | Yes Watch rates, play-through, click-throughs and replies, reported per video, per sequence and per team. | Yes Tracked in Sendspark or synced into your CRM. |
| LinkedIn sequence automation Connection requests and message steps sent by the tool itself. | Yes Included, in the same sequence as email and video. | No LinkedIn is a personalization source in Sendspark. You connect it to pull profile content into a video. Sending on LinkedIn happens in a partner tool such as Expandi, where you paste the Sendspark placeholder into the campaign. |
| Email sequence automation Multi-step automated email campaigns sent by the tool itself. | Yes Basic sequences, included in the plan. | No Sendspark's own templates describe sending videos in Outreach, SalesLoft, HubSpot "and 50+ other email platforms". The cadence runs there, not in Sendspark. |
| Trigger-based automation Starting outreach from an event rather than a manual action. | Yes Up to 3 active agents, included in the plan. | Yes Agentic Workflows on Growth and above, metered in tasks; also buildable in Zapier, Make or Clay. |
| Prospect list management and enrichment | Yes List management and targeting, up to 400 email enrichments / month. | Partial Contacts arrive as a CSV upload. Sendspark can derive a background URL from a business email domain and pull LinkedIn profile content, but publishes no contact-data enrichment. |
| CRM sync | Yes HubSpot, Pipedrive and Upsales, included in the plan; syncs contacts, activities and blocklists. | Partial HubSpot is a basic integration on all plans and Salesforce is added on Growth and above. Sendspark also names HighLevel and Zoho among its supported CRMs without stating a tier. The vendor describes the sync as video engagement data flowing back to the CRM. |
| Sends video through third-party sequencers | Not documented Vaam publishes native CRM integrations but does not document placing its videos inside third-party sequencers. | Yes 50+ integrations including Outreach, SalesLoft, Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo, Clay, Zapier, Make and Expandi, plus API and webhook access on Growth and above. |
| Custom domain and white-label video | Not documented Vaam publishes brand and compliance controls for intros, overlays and messaging, but no custom video domain. | Partial Custom logo and domain branding from the Growth plan; not available on Solo. |
| SOC 2 attestation | Not documented Vaam publishes encryption at rest and in transit and EU data residency, but no SOC 2 attestation. | Yes Sendspark's site states it is GDPR and SOC 2 Type 2 compliant; SOC 2 compliance is also listed under the Enterprise plan. |
| EU data residency | Yes All customer data is stored within the European Union. | No Sendspark's privacy policy states that information is securely stored in its servers and internal systems located within the US, and that personal data may be processed in the United States. |

Pros and cons
Vaam
A sales outreach automation platform whose agents find prospects on LinkedIn, check them against your audience and enroll the matches into a sequence of LinkedIn, email and per-prospect video steps.
Best for Agent-sourced LinkedIn, email and video outreach with a human on the repliesPros
- The agents find and qualify prospects on their own. They source from LinkedIn posts and people searches, enrich each profile, and check it against the audience you defined before anyone is contacted. If you configure no audience, they run without the matching step.
- Sourcing, qualification and outreach sit in one product, so there is no export and re-import between building a list and running it.
- You choose how much rope to give the agent. Turn on Require approval to vet every prospect yourself, or leave it off and let the agent enroll the matches.
- The video, the LinkedIn steps and the email steps live in one sequence, so there is no export step and no second subscription.
- Record one template video and every prospect added to the sequence gets their own version automatically.
- Native CRM sync for contacts, activities and blocklists, not just video view data.
- Customer data is stored inside the European Union.
- Watch rates, click-throughs and replies are reported per video, per sequence and per team.
Cons
- No AI voice cloning, no lip cloning and no dynamic website backgrounds. What we document is per-prospect video generation plus personalized share pages.
- Video is one part of a broader outreach platform, so our video feature set is narrower than a dedicated video vendor's.
- No documented way to push our videos into third-party sequencers such as Outreach, SalesLoft or Smartlead.
- No SOC 2 attestation. Our published security claims are encryption and EU data residency.
- No mobile recording. It is the Chrome extension and the Mac and Windows desktop app only.
- Our plan is €99 per user per month, above Sendspark's entry price.
- The agents source from LinkedIn only. There is no website-visitor, job-change or CRM-signal agent, and Sales Navigator search URLs do not work.
Sendspark
A dedicated AI video personalization platform: record one video, and voice cloning and dynamic website backgrounds generate a unique version per prospect that you send through 50+ email and LinkedIn tools.
Best for The deepest AI video personalization, fed into the sequencer you already usePros
- AI voice cloning speaks each prospect's name in your own recorded voice, and lip cloning syncs the mouth to it.
- Dynamic backgrounds place each prospect's own website behind you, with optional simulated scrolling.
- 50+ integrations, including Outreach, SalesLoft, HubSpot, Salesforce, Instantly, Smartlead, Clay, Zapier and Expandi.
- Agentic Workflows trigger video creation and sending from CRM events, form fills and website-visitor identification.
- AI-personalized videos can be generated in multiple languages from one recording.
- SOC 2 Type 2 and GDPR compliance are stated on the vendor's own site.
- The entry plan is $49 per month, cheaper than Vaam's plan.
Cons
- No sequence engine of its own. Sendspark generates and sends videos, but the multi-step LinkedIn and email cadence has to run in another product you also pay for.
- LinkedIn is a personalization source, not a sending channel; LinkedIn delivery goes through a partner tool such as Expandi.
- Dynamic Video Minutes are metered; going over costs $0.19 to $0.39 per extra minute depending on plan, and workflow tasks are metered separately.
- A dynamic campaign starts from a CSV upload of contacts, so the prospect list is maintained outside the tool.
- No prospect data enrichment; you bring emails, names and company data with you.
- Data is stored on US servers. The privacy policy states information is securely stored in servers and internal systems located within the US.
- The free trial is 7 days, half of Vaam's 14.
Frequently asked questions
What do Vaam agents do that Sendspark doesn't?
Sendspark starts after you already know who to contact. Its own help centre describes a dynamic video campaign as a CSV upload of contacts, and its LinkedIn connection pulls profile content into a video rather than finding people. Our agents do the step before the video exists. An agent watches a LinkedIn people search, a company page's posts or one person's posts, opens each new profile to load company, role, industry and size, and judges the person against the audience you defined, meaning job titles, geography, company size, industries and exclusions, before anyone enters a sequence. With no audience configured, the agent runs without that check. Rejected prospects are listed with the reason and you can overrule the decision. Sendspark then wins on the clip itself. Voice cloning, lip cloning and dynamic website backgrounds go further than anything we publish.
Does Vaam work on its own?
Partly, and that is on purpose. The agents run without you. They watch LinkedIn posts and people searches on a schedule, enrich every profile they find, check it against your audience, and add the matches to a sequence that then sends its LinkedIn, email and video steps by itself. What we do not automate is the conversation. When a prospect answers, the sequence pauses and the reply becomes a task for you, with an AI summary and, where the AI judges that the reply needs a person, a suggested response you can copy. You can also switch on Require approval, which holds every prospect for your decision before any outreach starts. Vaam runs the outbound work, and you take the conversations.
Do personalized videos actually get more replies?
We publish averages from teams using our video automation: about three times better open rates and roughly ten hours saved per rep per week. Treat those as vendor averages, not a guarantee. Reply rate depends far more on your list quality and your offer than on the format. Neither we nor Sendspark publishes an audited reply-rate benchmark, so if the number matters to your business case, run a split test on your own list before you commit a budget.
What is the real difference between Vaam and Sendspark?
Sendspark makes the video. We find the prospect, run the outreach and make the video. Sendspark's own templates and integrations page describe sending videos through Outreach, SalesLoft, HubSpot, Smartlead and 50+ other email and LinkedIn tools, which means the multi-step cadence lives in a product you buy separately. We build the LinkedIn steps, the email steps and the personalized video into one sequence, so the video is a step rather than an asset you export.
Does Sendspark do LinkedIn and email outreach?
Not as a sender. Sendspark's help centre describes connecting LinkedIn during campaign setup so you can pull profile content into a video, and its Expandi integration works by adding a Sendspark placeholder to an Expandi campaign. The connection requests and the messages are sent by the partner tool. The same applies to email: Sendspark integrates with the email platform, and the platform sends the cadence.
Which tool personalizes video more deeply?
Sendspark, on the video itself. It publishes AI voice cloning that speaks each prospect's name in your own voice, lip cloning, dynamic website backgrounds with simulated scrolling, multiple AI variables and multilingual generation. We publish per-prospect video generation and personalized share pages, but no voice cloning and no dynamic backgrounds. Our advantage is not the depth of the clip. It is that the clip sits inside the sequence that delivers it.
Is Vaam cheaper than Sendspark?
Not at the entry level, and the two price differently. Sendspark Solo is $49 per month for one seat, billed annually at $468, while we charge €99 per user per month, billed monthly with no lock-in. Sendspark plans are billed per account with a fixed number of seats included, so Growth is $99 per month for 3 seats, and video generation is metered in Dynamic Video Minutes charged at $0.19 to $0.39 per extra minute. The fair comparison is Sendspark plus whatever sequencer you run, against Vaam on its own. Note that we price in EUR and Sendspark prices in USD.
How does video fit into a sequence?
In Vaam you record one template video, build a LinkedIn and email sequence, and add the video as a step. Every prospect you enroll gets their own personalized version automatically, with a tracked link and an animated thumbnail. In Sendspark you build a dynamic video campaign, upload contacts as a CSV, generate the videos, and then place them into a step of a sequence that runs in your email or LinkedIn tool. The Sendspark route adds an export and a second product. The Vaam route keeps the personalization and the cadence in one place.
Can I use Vaam and Sendspark together?
There is no documented integration between them. We publish native CRM integrations rather than a way to place third-party videos in our sequences, and Sendspark's integration list does not name Vaam. In practice teams pair Sendspark with the sequencer they already own, and pick Vaam when they would rather have one tool than two.
Where is my data stored?
We store all customer data within the European Union. Sendspark's privacy policy states that information is securely stored in its servers and internal systems located within the US and that personal data may be processed in the United States, while also stating GDPR and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance. If EU data residency is a requirement in your procurement review, that is the clearest difference between the two.
Do both tools offer a free trial?
Yes, with different lengths. We give you 14 days with no credit card. Sendspark states that every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, also with no credit card needed to start.
