Vaam

Vaam vs La Growth Machine

These two are the closest thing each other has to a direct rival, which is why we watch La Growth Machine as closely as we run our own outreach on Vaam, and why this page concedes what it does better. If you are reading it, you are running LinkedIn and email as one sequence out of Europe and choosing which personalization format to build the motion on. Both tools run LinkedIn and email as one multichannel sequence, both are European, both publish list prices in euros, and both now find prospects for you rather than waiting for an import. They disagree on the personalization that follows. We send video personalized per prospect. La Growth Machine sends a LinkedIn voice message with an AI-read intro per lead.

Short answer

Both tools source prospects for you, so the question is what happens to a prospect between finding them and contacting them. Our agents watch LinkedIn posts and people searches on a schedule, open each new profile to load company, role, industry and size, and judge it against the audience you defined before enrollment, with a written reason you can override. You can also require your own approval on every prospect. La Growth Machine's Signals import leads continuously from an intent trigger and Lookalike Search suggests similar companies, but the trigger and its filters are the qualification, and La Growth Machine publishes no per-prospect verdict or approval gate. Pick Vaam if you want that qualification step, video personalized for each prospect inside the sequence, and native CRM sync without buying the top plan. Pick La Growth Machine if voice notes are the personalization you believe in, if you need X (Twitter) steps, or if a small number of sending identities serves a large team, since its per-identity price includes team members while we charge per user. Data location is close but not identical. We state that all customer data is stored in the European Union. La Growth Machine's DPA lists sub-processors that mostly process in France, Luxembourg, Ireland and Germany, plus two that do not: Bright Data in Israel and OpenAI in the United States.

Top pick: Vaam Best for Agent-sourced LinkedIn, email and video outreach with a human on the replies

Pick Vaam if

  • You want the tool to find and qualify prospects continuously, not just execute a list you built somewhere else.
  • You want AI to do the sourcing and the sending, and a human to own every reply.
  • Video personalized per prospect is the format you want in the sequence, not voice or text.
  • You want native CRM sync to HubSpot, Pipedrive or Upsales without stepping up to a vendor's top tier.
  • You have everyone on the team running their own outreach, so per-user pricing matches how you work.
  • You need every sub-processor inside the EU. Vaam publishes a data-location statement covering all customer data.

Pick La Growth Machine if

  • You want AI-personalized LinkedIn voice messages. Vaam has none.
  • Your sequences need X (Twitter) steps alongside LinkedIn and email.
  • You have a few sending identities serving many people. La Growth Machine includes team members in the identity price, and Vaam charges per user.
  • You want a built-in company database and waterfall email enrichment inside the same product.
  • You want a starting price of €50 to €60 per month per identity, below Vaam's €99 per user per month.

Feature comparison

Where Vaam and La Growth Machine overlap, and where they do not.

Feature support by product
Feature Vaam La Growth Machine
Agent-sourced prospecting The tool finds and qualifies new prospects itself, instead of only running a list you built elsewhere. Yes Agents source from LinkedIn posts and people searches, enrich each profile, and check it against the audience you defined before enrollment. With no audience configured, they run without that check. Yes Signals is presented as auto-import of leads matching your ICP. You "choose an intent trigger and let La Growth Machine continuously import matching leads, automatically", from a LinkedIn like or comment, an event signup, a job change, a profile visit, a form or a website visit. Lookalike Search adds companies similar to your best clients on an ongoing basis, and the LGM Database supports ABM targeting. The trigger and its filters are the qualification: La Growth Machine publishes no per-prospect verdict written before outreach.
Autonomous sequence execution Sourced prospects enter a multi-step sequence and every step sends on schedule without a person triggering it. Yes LinkedIn, email and per-prospect video steps send automatically, with randomized human-like pacing and a 400 active-prospect cap on LinkedIn sequences. Yes Multichannel sequences run LinkedIn, email, X (Twitter) and call tasks from one sequence builder once a lead enters a campaign, with conditions on opens, clicks and replies.
Human control points Named places where a person can approve or halt the automation, such as approving prospects before outreach and replies that stop the sequence. Yes Require approval holds each prospect for your decision, and a prospect's reply pauses the sequence and becomes a task for the seller. Not documented La Growth Machine's own feature pages document Out of Office detection that pauses actions automatically, a multichannel inbox and a Slack alert when a prospect replies, but they state neither an approval step before a lead is contacted nor an automatic stop of the sequence on reply. Ask the vendor before relying on either.
Email sequences Multi-step automated email campaigns. Yes Yes Included on every plan, with conditions on opens, clicks and replies.
LinkedIn automation Connection requests and message steps inside the same sequence. Yes Included. Yes Included on every plan, including profile visits and social warming.
Video in outreach Sending a video as part of the sequence. Yes Built-in recording and sharing. No The published channels are LinkedIn, email, X (Twitter) and calls. No video step appears in the feature list or the plan comparison table.
Video personalized per lead A different video generated for each prospect. Yes Up to 400 AI-personalized videos / month. No Personalization per lead is done with voice, not video.
LinkedIn voice messages Sending a voice note as a sequence step. No Yes Included on all plans. You record the shared body once; AI reads a per-lead intro in your own voice and the two are merged.
X (Twitter) steps No Yes Tweet, follow, unfollow, favorite and retweet actions, plus follow-back conditions. The plan cards name X as a channel only on Ultimate, but the plan-comparison table on the same page marks every X action as available on all three plans; only the CRM "Twitter activity" sync row is Ultimate-only. Confirm with La Growth Machine before buying a lower tier for X alone.
SMS or WhatsApp steps No No Neither channel appears in the feature list or the plan comparison.
Calling Partial Call steps run as tasks. There is no in-app dialer. Partial Calls are listed under manual tasks in the plan comparison, from the Pro plan.
Built-in lead or company database No No database of its own. Agents source from LinkedIn posts and regular LinkedIn people searches, and you can import your own lists; Sales Navigator search URLs are not supported. Yes 27M+ company database with ABM queries, included from the Basic plan.
Contact enrichment included in the plan Yes Up to 400 email enrichments / month. Yes 250 leads / month on Basic, 400 on Pro, 1 000 on Ultimate. Credits are consumed at 1 per lead for data and 5 for a verified email; extra credits are bought separately.
Email deliverability tooling No Vaam publishes no warm-up or rotation product; its safety story is human-like pacing and blocklists. Partial Inbox rotation spreads sending across several addresses from the Pro plan. No email warm-up product is published.
Native CRM sync Yes HubSpot, Pipedrive and Upsales, included in the plan; syncs contacts, activities and blocklists. Partial HubSpot and Pipedrive on the Ultimate plan only; not available on Basic or Pro.
EU data residency Yes Vaam states that all customer data is stored within the European Union. Partial Appendix B of La Growth Machine's DPA names each sub-processor and where it processes. Most are inside the EU: Scaleway and Microsoft in France, AWS in France and Luxembourg, MongoDB and MacStadium in Ireland, Genderapi in Germany. Two are not: Bright Data processes in Israel and OpenAI in the United States, and the DPA records a data transfer for the OpenAI and MongoDB processing.
Pricing unit What the list price is charged per. Yes Per user, per month, in EUR. Yes Per identity, per month, in EUR, USD or GBP; team members are included in the plan.

Vaam pricing

Prices are in EUR, per user per month, billed monthly, with no lock-in. Annual agreements are available on request, without a published price. There is one plan for everyone, so a team of five needs five seats. Each LinkedIn account is one seat.

La Growth Machine pricing

Prices are in EUR as published on La Growth Machine's pricing page, which also offers USD and GBP. The "list price" column is monthly billing and the "longer term" column is the annual price ("2 months free"). Pricing is per identity, meaning a profile that runs campaigns, and each identity is billed separately. Team members who only reply are included in the plan. Note that La Growth Machine's own pages disagree about plan gating: the features page states that every feature is included in all paid plans, while the pricing page's plan-comparison table marks several as unavailable on the lower tiers. This page follows the pricing page and its comparison table, because that is the table the checkout is based on.

Pros and cons

Vaam

A sales outreach automation platform whose agents find prospects on LinkedIn, check them against your audience and enroll the matches into a sequence of LinkedIn, email and per-prospect video steps.

Best for Agent-sourced LinkedIn, email and video outreach with a human on the replies

Pros

  • The agents find and qualify prospects on their own. They source from LinkedIn posts and people searches, enrich each profile, and check it against the audience you defined before anyone is contacted. If you configure no audience, they run without the matching step.
  • Sourcing, qualification and outreach sit in one product, so there is no export and re-import between building a list and running it.
  • You choose how much rope to give the agent. Turn on Require approval to vet every prospect yourself, or leave it off and let the agent enroll the matches.
  • Video is personalized per prospect and an allowance is included in the plan.
  • LinkedIn, email and video run inside one sequence rather than across two products.
  • Native CRM sync for contacts, activities and blocklists, included in the one plan.
  • Vaam states that all customer data is stored within the European Union.

Cons

  • No LinkedIn voice messages, which is the format La Growth Machine has built its personalization around.
  • No X (Twitter) automation.
  • No company or lead database of our own. The agents work from LinkedIn posts and regular LinkedIn people searches, and Sales Navigator search URLs do not work.
  • No email warm-up or inbox-rotation product of our own.
  • We charge per user, so a team of five pays five times over even if only one profile sends.

La Growth Machine

A French multichannel outreach platform that runs LinkedIn, email, X and call tasks from one sequence builder, with AI-personalized LinkedIn voice messages included on every plan.

Best for Multichannel sequences with AI voice messages and X (Twitter)

Pros

  • Signals import matching leads continuously from an intent trigger, and Lookalike Search keeps suggesting companies similar to your best clients.
  • AI-personalized LinkedIn voice messages are included on every plan, from €60 per month per identity.
  • Four channels run in one sequence, namely LinkedIn, email, X (Twitter) and call tasks.
  • Team members are included in the identity price, 3 on Basic, 25 on Pro and unlimited on Ultimate.
  • Built-in 27M+ company database and waterfall email enrichment across 9 providers.
  • List prices published in EUR, USD and GBP, with monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual terms.

Cons

  • No video step. The published channels are LinkedIn, email, X and calls.
  • CRM sync with HubSpot or Pipedrive requires the Ultimate plan at €180 per identity per month.
  • Billing is per identity and each identity is billed separately, so several senders multiply the price.
  • Enrichment runs on credits, 1 per lead for data and 5 per lead for a verified email, and running out means buying more.
  • Two sub-processors in the DPA process outside the EU. They are Bright Data in Israel and OpenAI in the United States.
  • The pricing page and the features page disagree about which features each plan includes.

Frequently asked questions

What do Vaam agents do that La Growth Machine doesn't?

Both tools source prospects for you, so the honest answer is about the step in between. La Growth Machine's Signals import leads continuously from an intent trigger, meaning a like, a comment, an event signup, a job change, a form or a website visit, and Lookalike Search suggests companies similar to your best clients. The trigger and its filters decide who gets contacted. Our agents add a qualification step. An agent opens each new profile to load company, role, industry and size, then judges the person against the audience you defined, meaning job titles, geography, company size, industries and exclusions, and records a reason for every prospect it rejects, which you can overrule. You can also switch on Require approval so no prospect enters a sequence until you say so. La Growth Machine publishes no equivalent verdict or approval gate. What La Growth Machine has and we do not is a company database, waterfall email enrichment and non-LinkedIn intent sources such as website visits and form fills. Our agents work from LinkedIn only.

Does Vaam work on its own?

Partly, and that is on purpose. The agents run without you. They watch LinkedIn posts and people searches on a schedule, enrich every profile they find, check it against your audience, and add the matches to a sequence that then sends its LinkedIn, email and video steps by itself. What we do not automate is the conversation. When a prospect answers, the sequence pauses and the reply becomes a task for you, with an AI summary and, where the AI judges that the reply needs a person, a suggested response you can copy. You can also switch on Require approval, which holds every prospect for your decision before any outreach starts. Vaam runs the outbound work, and you take the conversations.

Is Vaam cheaper than La Growth Machine?

It depends on how many people send. We charge €99 per user per month, billed monthly with no lock-in. La Growth Machine starts at €50 per identity per month annually and €60 monthly, but that entry plan has no CRM sync. The tier with CRM sync is Ultimate at €150 annually and €180 monthly per identity. La Growth Machine includes team members in the identity price, so a team that shares a few sending profiles pays less there, while a team where everyone sends pays per person with us. Both publish EUR prices, so no currency conversion is needed.

What is an "identity" in La Growth Machine pricing?

La Growth Machine defines an identity as a profile that engages leads automatically, meaning a profile running campaigns. You are billed per identity and each identity is billed separately. You do not need an identity to answer replies, so colleagues who only handle the inbox are covered by the included team-member seats: 3 on Basic, 25 on Pro and unlimited on Ultimate.

Does La Growth Machine support video messages?

No. La Growth Machine's published channels are LinkedIn, email, X (Twitter) and calls, and no video step appears in its feature list or plan comparison. Its non-text personalization is the LinkedIn voice message. Vaam is the one of the two that records and sends video inside the sequence.

Which gets more replies, video or voice notes?

Both vendors make claims for their own format, and neither publishes an independent test. What can be compared is what each format does. A voice note carries tone and takes seconds to listen to, and La Growth Machine scales it by having AI read a per-lead intro in your recorded voice, then merging it with a body that is the same for everyone. A video also carries your face and your screen, which is why we use it to show a product or an account rather than only to greet someone by name. If your message is a short, warm opener, voice is cheaper to produce. If the message has to show something, only video does that.

What can Vaam do that La Growth Machine cannot?

We check every prospect an agent finds against the audience you defined, record a reason for the ones we reject, and can hold each prospect for your approval before outreach starts. If you configure no audience, the agents run without the matching step. We also record and send video as a sequence step and personalize that video per prospect, with an allowance included in every plan. Vaam syncs natively with Upsales in addition to HubSpot and Pipedrive, and includes CRM sync in its one plan rather than gating it to a top tier.

What can La Growth Machine do that Vaam cannot?

La Growth Machine sends AI-personalized LinkedIn voice messages, automates X (Twitter), ships a 27M+ company database with waterfall email enrichment, and rotates sending across several email addresses to protect deliverability. We have none of these.

Is my data stored in the EU with either tool?

We store all customer data within the European Union. La Growth Machine is a French company and publishes a sub-processor list in Appendix B of its DPA. Most of that list processes inside the EU: Scaleway and Microsoft in France, AWS in France and Luxembourg, MongoDB and MacStadium in Ireland, Genderapi in Germany. Two do not. Bright Data processes in Israel and OpenAI in the United States. So the answer for La Growth Machine is "mostly, but not entirely". If every sub-processor must stay inside the EU, read Appendix B before you sign.

Do both tools offer a free trial?

Yes. Both offer 14 days with no credit card required.

Which one integrates with my CRM?

Vaam syncs contacts, activities and blocklists with HubSpot, Pipedrive and Upsales, included in its one plan. La Growth Machine syncs with HubSpot and Pipedrive, including CRM enrichment and CRM-triggered workflows, but only on the Ultimate plan; Basic and Pro have no CRM sync. Price the tier that contains the sync, not the entry tier.
