In today's digital landscape, video content has become king. With over 80% of Sweden's population actively using social media and an average daily usage of almost 2 hours, the potential to reach your audience with your message is enormous. But how can you, as a B2B company or startup, effectively create engaging video content that stands out in the feed? Let's dive into Ajdin Crnovic's quick and efficient method for going from idea to viral video in just 30 minutes.
Video content continues to grow in popularity and is expected to dominate social media even more in 2024. This makes it more important than ever for B2B companies to master quick and efficient video production. But don't worry - you don't need to be a professional filmmaker to succeed.
"I would say that for me, it takes a maximum of half an hour. A video I share takes me... Within the span of 30 minutes, I would say," Ajdin Crnovic shares in the Vaamazing Sales podcast.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that you need expensive equipment or advanced skills to create good video content. The truth is that you can go far with just your smartphone and a few simple apps.
"I now just use my phone and... a wireless lavalier mic," says Ajdin. "Really just a mobile phone and... You could say a mobile phone and a lavalier mic. Some form of microphone."
For editing, Ajdin recommends CapCut, a free app from ByteDance (the company behind TikTok). "CapCut is TikTok's, or ByteDance, the group's own app. It's completely free... you don't even need to... Of course, you can buy it, I think it costs 700-800 kronor per year or something like that. And you want certain pro features, but you..."
One of the most common pitfalls for B2B companies on social media is that they focus too much on themselves and their products. Ajdin emphasizes the importance of creating content that provides value to the viewer:
"The actual problem that you, as a cleaning company, solve is the everyday squabbles between couples at home... Family therapy costs 1500 kronor per hour. Home cleaning costs 399 per month, do you understand the point?"
By focusing on the real problems your customers face, and presenting your solution in an entertaining and relatable way, you can create content that truly engages your target audience.
Ajdin describes his own superpower as the ability to quickly come up with creative ideas that are both humorous and relatable. But what do you do if you don't feel you have the same creative vein?
"And there I actually think that many companies that have employees, they just need to take advantage of their employees and give them space," says Ajdin. "They have more power within the organization than they actually think and creative souls who can both make the content and maybe do it in their free time, especially if they're Generation Z."
By involving your employees in the content creation process, you can not only get new perspectives and ideas but also create a more engaged and cohesive workplace.
For many B2B companies, the thought of producing regular content can feel overwhelming. But Ajdin recommends starting small and focusing on quality rather than quantity:
"I would say focus on one platform, for example, take LinkedIn and at least try to set a strategy where you have a continuity of... 2-3 posts a week. So what does that become? About 10 posts a month, that's enough."
By focusing on one platform at a time, you can learn what works for your target audience and gradually build your online presence.
In addition to CapCut, Ajdin recommends two other tools that are crucial for his content creation process:
"Canva is a fantastic tool for graphic creation of carousels or general graphic posts. Whatever you want, you want to have some message in a certain format. You have tons of templates that are kind of ready-made and can give you inspiration."
The best way to improve your content creation is to simply start. Ajdin gives the following challenge to anyone who wants to improve their content game:
"Record yourself. In front of your mobile phone where you share either a personal story from your work life. It could be an event in a job you've had where you talk about a situation with a customer or... or just tips and tricks related to some form of value you want to give to the customer."
By taking the first step and challenging yourself to create and share content, you will quickly learn what works for your target audience and how you can improve your content over time.
In a world where social media is increasingly used as search engines and short video formats dominate, it's more important than ever for B2B companies to master the art of creating engaging video content. With Ajdin Crnovic's method and the tools he recommends, you can go from idea to viral video in just 30 minutes.
Remember to focus on providing value to your target audience, don't be afraid to experiment, and utilize the creativity of your employees. By consistently producing relevant and engaging content, you can increase your visibility, build stronger relationships with your customers, and ultimately drive more sales to your B2B company.
